The latest acquisition represents a sharp 11.2% increase from the 29,462 BTC reported just weeks prior. While the company has not disclosed the specific purchase price for this tranche, the move aligns with its broader strategy of using capital raised through common and preferred stock to accumulate digital assets. This path of aggressive expansion began in early 2025 and accelerated significantly following the company's January 2026 merger with Semler Scientific, which initially bolstered reserves by 5,048 BTC.

Alongside the Bitcoin purchases, CEO Matt Cole reported that approximately 15.3 million warrants remained outstanding as of the October 13 deadline. These securities, which carried an exercise price of $27 per share, serve as a primary vehicle for raising the liquidity necessary to fund the treasury’s growth. Simultaneously, the company solidified its financial governance by formally incorporating a $100 minimum issuance price for its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock (SATA) into its governing documents. This change codifies a policy previously communicated to investors, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its preferred stock financing program, which currently offers an annual dividend rate of 13%.
