Aurora Intents Bridges Solana Wallets to Elara Finance Yield

Solana users can now deposit stablecoins into Elara Finance’s Ethereum-based treasury without navigating complex bridging or managing secondary wallets. By leveraging Aurora Intents, the integration allows investors to execute deposits and staking approvals directly from their existing Solana-native interfaces, simplifying cross-chain yield participation.

The integration allows Solana holders to bypass manual bridging processes and native gas purchases on Ethereum. Once a user signs a deposit from their Solana wallet, the funds are routed to Ethereum where Elara mints elUSD, a dollar-referenced asset. A subsequent signature from the same Solana wallet enables the user to stake these assets into sELUSD, which generates yield through stablecoin market-making strategies. Aurora Labs maintains that funds remain under the control of the user’s Solana wallet address throughout the lifecycle, with Aurora Intents acting as the routing layer rather than a custodian.

Declan Hannon, CEO of Aurora Labs, noted that friction remains a primary barrier to cross-chain adoption, stating that every extra step between a user and a financial product results in lost deposits. By automating the path between chains, the system aims to capture stablecoin liquidity currently sitting idle on the Solana network. This backend infrastructure relies on the NEAR Intents solver network, which has facilitated over $34 billion in transaction volume. While the process simplifies asset movement, users should remain aware that income generated from such staking programs is subject to U.S. federal tax reporting requirements, as outlined by the Internal Revenue Service.
