The International Energy Agency predicts that electric and hybrid models could capture nearly 30% of global car sales this year. IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol noted that declining battery costs and policy responses to the energy crisis are reinforcing this momentum, making the transition away from internal combustion engines appear increasingly irreversible for European consumers.
