Binance to Rebrand Toncoin as GRAM in July Transition

Binance is initiating a sweeping technical overhaul of its Toncoin markets, shifting the exchange's ticker from TON to GRAM. This staged migration requires users across spot, futures, and margin desks to navigate a series of mid-summer deadlines as the platform aligns its listings with the token's original branding.

The exchange will execute a 1:1 token swap, automatically migrating user balances to the new ticker without manual intervention. Spot trading for existing TON pairs, including TON/USDT and TON/USDC, concludes on June 30 at 03:00 UTC. Following this delisting, the exchange plans to reopen these pairs under the GRAM ticker on July 2 at 08:00 UTC.

Financial products face a tighter schedule. Binance Futures will settle all TONUSDT perpetual positions on June 23, with the exchange advising traders to monitor liquidity during the final hour of activity. Simultaneously, margin, loans, and Simple Earn services will wind down their support for the legacy ticker throughout late June. While the network itself retains the TON name, the shift reflects Pavel Durov's push to return to the Gram designation featured in the project’s original white paper. Users holding assets in specialized accounts are encouraged to review their positions, as the exchange will cease support for legacy TON deposits and withdrawals immediately following the transition.
